Serbian ITS Association signed cooperation agreement with the NATEP – National Association of periodical technical inspection (PTI) stations.

 

NATEP within its umbrella gathers more than 900 PTI stations in Serbia, focused to keep track with the latest developments in technologies and regulatory challenges in order to improve overall road safety and environment protection. NATEP represents Serbia in relevant international organizations, such as CITA (worldwide association of authorities and authorized companies active in the field of vehicle compliance).

 

On the other hand, ITS Serbia is one of the youngest national professional associations, covering applications of ICT technologies in all modes of transport, Serbian representative in the network of national ITS associations – ITS Nationals Network and one of the partners in the organization of ITS Congresses.

 

Advanced technologies introduced in new models of vehicles are affecting simultaneously ITS solutions and PTI activities, thus creating related and common challenges to both associations and their members. This agreement enables further development and improvement of related and complementary activities and knowledge exchange.
